Wednesday night, March 26, 2014:
CHEYENNE RIVER SIOUX TRIBE – A call had been put out from the Bridger Community wanting a meeting about the pipeline. There had been meetings from Lakota Advocates, the elderly group here, in the communities of Cherry Creek, Dupris, Eagle Butte, but there wasn’t a meetings down on the front lines which was Bridger. Some of the Community members were saying, “Why haven’t you come here, we need a meeting here.” No one was really answering them, so I decided to have a meeting, United Urban Warrior Society (UUWS) will sponsor it. We’ll get the information out there; we’ll do the pot luck. I worked with Elizabeth Lone Eagle who did awesome work on getting things together. We had already left town in my van with my family and UUWS members.
